Start in 2026 FallLandmark Properties, Inc. is seeking a Development Intern to join their development analyst team. The role involves compiling, analyzing, and reporting data for student housing and multifamily development opportunities to inform the firm’s development decisions.

Responsibilities
Research market conditions and report/present quantitative data on rental rates, occupancy, pre-lease, demographics, supply, demand, and other market indicators in target markets
Assist in underwriting pro forma financial models for potential development opportunities. This includes but is not limited to general Excel modeling and conducting research on market rents, property taxes, and government fees
Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda and other presentations for equity and debt capital raising
Assist with the preparation of offers for land purchases and ground leases
Perform general research and financial analysis for deals in various stages of the development life cycle
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant major (Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, etc.) with an excellent academic record and demonstrated interest in real estate
Succinct and effective written and oral communication skills
A motivated self-starter, problem solver, and team player
Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills
Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to accomplish assigned tasks with limited guidance and supervision
Preferred
Familiarity with Google Earth Pro, AxioMetrics, CoStar, College House, and Smartsheet a plus
