Research Assistant / Phlebotomist

They are seeking a qualified Research Assistant / Phlebotomist to work directly with patients in a lab setting, performing tasks such as taking patient vitals and assisting with direct patient care activities.

Responsibilities

Possess certification such as phlebotomy or similar, and have a desire to work directly with patients in a lab setting
Skilled at performing and assisting with direct patient care activities: physical assessments, blood draws, medication administration, ECG, etc. (On the job training may be offered for those procedures not previously performed.)
Possess an acute attention to detail for clean data entry, regulatory compliance, site visits, study set-up and maintenance, lab cleanliness, and protocol adherence
A good communicator with the goal of fostering relationships between the research team, PIs, Sponsors, Monitors, and others
Not easily distracted: You have the ability to stay focused while running different protocols, tracking patient reports, and maintaining eSource material for assigned studies
Taking ownership of their assigned studies and patients
Communicating promptly and effectively with leadership and coworkers when you have a question or see something that needs correction
Showing up on time, every time
Ensuring strict compliance to the laws, regulations, and requirements of all applicable governing bodies
Learning and using the technologies we provide to enhance your day-to-day progress

Qualification

Required

Certification such as phlebotomy or similar
Desire to work directly with patients in a lab setting
