Responsibilities
Responsible for providing support to engineers on technical projects and/or products
Assist in scheduling and developing construction plans for the project work
Assist in work packages, construction plans, bill material and will be in charge of the scope of work schedule
Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data
Travel to job site to collect necessary documentation and supplementary data (notes, photos, measurements, etc.)
Qualification
Required
0-2 years of prior relevant experience: working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering
strong construction background, design work, civil engineering, electrical experience and programming experience
Must be comfortable in both a field and office setting (mainly field)
Interest in developing construction work packages for the electric distribution system using various software systems and construction standards
Candidate must provide their own reliable transportation (local customers/sites – will be reimbursed for mileage)
This role will involve 80% travel around the surrounding cities/fielding for customer requirements, meeting with construction/project managers and driving timelines on projects
Preferred
Associates or Technical Degree in any engineering field
Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools
Work Management Systems (WMS) SAP B1 and/or SAGE Experience
