Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, and internal controls
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Collaborate with senior leadership on financial strategy and risk management
Manage and mentor accounting team members, fostering professional growth
Drive process improvements and system enhancements to support business objectives
Reporting directly to the CFO with direct contact with executive leadership
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including experience as Controller or Assistant Controller
CPA required
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Preferred
MBA preferred
Public accounting experience and insurance industry experience preferred
Banking experience with accounting is highly desired
