Responsibilities
Develop, track, and manage project budgets, project plans, timelines, and scope for documentation initiatives
Review existing process documentation across various sources to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and outdated information
Meet with subject matter experts to validate current processes and gather missing details
Refine and organize process content into standardized documentation templates aligned with industry best practices
Draft and update process steps, visuals, and guidance to ensure accuracy, clarity, and ease of use
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure documentation reflects the latest process improvements
Partner closely with functional project teams to define business requirements
Lead teams in the delivery of high-quality documentation solutions that meet business needs
Facilitate stakeholder feedback loops and incorporate input across cross-functional teams
Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses and progress reports
Ensure appropriate project management processes are being utilized throughout documentation development
Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors
Manage project resources and coordinate with team members to meet deliverables
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of project management experience
3+ years of experience documenting complex, end-to-end business processes
3+ years of hands-on experience using documentation platforms and technical tools
Proven experience consolidating fragmented information from multiple sources into standardized formats
Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform systems environments
Demonstrated ability to learn business processes quickly and work effectively with business partners at different levels
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required
PMP or PMI certification
Process documentation and knowledge management
Project management methodology and execution
Technical proficiency in documentation platforms and formats, particularly Markdown
Version control and metadata tagging
Process visualization using tools such as Lucidchart, Miro, or Visio
Taxonomy design and content governance
People management and team building
Risk assessment and management principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
MBA or other related advanced degree
