Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support low-latency back-end services for treasury/trading and order management workflows
Build and maintain robust APIs and service integrations across upstream/downstream systems and data sources
Optimize performance, throughput, and resiliency (profiling, tuning, caching strategies, and concurrency patterns)
Implement clean, testable, and maintainable code following SOLID and modern engineering best practices
Partner with business stakeholders to translate treasury/operations/accounting/compliance needs into technical solutions
Contribute to front-end development as needed; create intuitive UI components and workflows (Blazor/DevExpress a plus)
Participate in code reviews, debugging, incident response, and continuous improvement of engineering standards
Document designs, operational procedures, and support runbooks to ensure reliable production operations
Qualification
Required
8-10+ years of professional software development experience, with advanced expertise in .NET and C#
5-7+ years of hands-on experience building low-latency back-end services within treasury/trading/OMS environments
Strong object-oriented programming skills and ability to design scalable, maintainable architectures
Demonstrated experience with performance-sensitive systems: threading/concurrency, memory management, and latency reduction
Experience delivering production-grade services with solid engineering practices (testing, CI/CD, logging/monitoring)
Prior domain exposure at a hedge fund or asset manager in at least one of the following areas (one required): Treasury, Operations (post-trade), Accounting, or Compliance
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering and business teams
Candidates must have meaningful exposure to at least one of the following business areas within hedge funds or asset managers: Treasury, Margin, financing costs, optimization, and locates, Understanding of funding/financing mechanics and related analytics, Operations (Post-Trade), Post-trade reconciliations, affirmations, allocations, Break resolution, dispute processes, and exception management, Accounting, Accounting workflows and controls relevant to investment operations (GL impacts, postings, reporting), Compliance, Trade surveillance or compliance monitoring workflows, controls, and reporting
Preferred
Front-end development experience with Blazor
Experience using DevExpress components and UI frameworks
Experience with distributed systems patterns (messaging/event-driven architectures)
Knowledge of market data, trade lifecycles, and/or risk and PnL concepts (depending on domain area)
