Responsibilities
Assist corporate accounting functions including general ledger, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Prepare, post, and review journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate on cash management, treasury operations, and banking relationships at the corporate level
Partner with FP&A, Production Finance, and business leaders to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting alignment
Coordinate annual financial statement audits and liaise with external auditors
Maintain accounting systems and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and scalability
Support special projects and strategic initiatives with accounting and reporting expertise
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred)
5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
Media, entertainment, or production industry experience required
Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or equivalent) and strong Excel skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on, with a player-coach mindset that balances big-picture thinking with attention to detail
