Responsibilities
Develop responsive, pixel-perfect UIs using React.js and Material UI (MUI), ensuring seamless cross-device compatibility
Optimize application performance (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting) and adhere to best practices
Implement real-time data dashboards using WebSocket, rxStomp, Socket.io, or similar technologies
Work with SciChart or similar libraries to render high-performance charts with large datasets (e.g., downsampling and dynamic updates)
Use MapBox for geospatial data visualization (strong plus)
Apply techniques such as data downsampling, throttling, and debouncing to optimize rendering performance
Ensure efficient memory management and smooth user interactions in data-heavy applications
Write reusable, modular, and testable code using Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library
Conduct peer code reviews and promote best practices in front-end architecture
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with Material UI (MUI), HTML5, CSS3, and modern tooling (Webpack, Babel)
Solid state management experience (Redux, Context API, Zustand)
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
React: 4 years (Required)
Software Development: 5 years (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Houston, TX 77001: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Preferred
Experience with SciChart, Highcharts, D3.js, or MapBox
Knowledge of WebGL for high-performance rendering
Hands-on experience with WebSocket, Socket.io, or Server-Sent Events (SSE)
Familiarity with data aggregation and downsampling techniques
Understanding of Docker, AWS, or deployment pipelines
