National Air Logistics Healthcare Business Development Manager

Kuehne+Nagel is a global leader in logistics, and they are seeking a National Air Logistics Healthcare Business Development Manager. This role involves managing customer accounts and relationships while developing sales strategies to drive account growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing customer accounts, relationships and agreements on a regional basis
Drives account growth team with high-level strategies and supports execution of plans
Develops specific sales strategies on an account level and executes with the Quick team
Supports client engagement and overall quality through on-site client meetings, review of deliverables and participation in QBR’s and critical meetings
Communicates with customers at a senior level to assess overall level of satisfaction and also deals with critical situations with accounts at risk
Manages overall ROI on tradeshows/events to ensure effective allocation of resources to maximize profitability
Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace and provides reports, on a regular and/or monthly basis
Keeps management and sales peers aware of changes affecting the customer’s industry as well as operations and sales
Supports the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies
Helps to identify new revenue and margin opportunities
Builds and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring the necessary resources are directed to meet customer needs and solutions on a regional basis
Utilizes CRM system on a daily basis to record all meetings, conference calls, generated opportunities, and client engagement in an organized and methodical manner
Helps to guide on-site reps (CRM’s) mentoring/developing
Manages all on-going customer issues, commercial issues, platform engineering issues and communication issues
Formulates and develop comprehensive business plan for each account to address:
Sales growth activities
Technology
Market information
Competitive information
Pricing Strategies
Formulates and develops yearly budgets designed to meet the growth objectives of the organization
Develops, presents, and participates in quarterly business reviews on their own sales pipeline and current accounts
Participates and submits weekly reports highlighting current opportunities, meetings, etc
Coordinates global customer-based activities and strategies with other QIC/SCI sales organizations. Account responsibility will be regional

Required

A minimum of 8 years' experience with a college degree in accounting and/or business management
Ability to present and communicate ideas to management and staff
Demonstrate ability to identify and solve problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly effective presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent time management with ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Extensive knowledge of QIC organization and technologies, with the ability to lead the achievement of unified QIC solutions
Extensive experience in sales to CMOs, CROs, Central Labs, pharmaceutical, biotech, and personalized medicine companies
BA/BS or equivalent work experience
Potential travel up to 70%
Must be able to work flexible schedule to a 24/7/365 operation
