Clinical Compliance Consultant- Product Development

Sentara Health is looking to hire a Remote Clinical Compliance Consultant, Strategy & Product Development. The Clinical Compliance Consultant will support clinical and regulatory compliance through project leadership, technical oversight, and risk identification and mitigation, while collaborating on strategies and process improvements.

Responsibilities

Supporting the clinical and regulatory compliance of designated lines of business through project leadership, technical oversight and risk identification and mitigation
Develop tools that help determine regulatory and accreditation risks and will help manage and mitigate them effectively
Develop metrics for monitoring program objectives and policies and procedures that support compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Gather information related to quality improvement and compliance monitoring
Maintain records and monitor the development and use of all related metrics for regulatory compliance
Make recommendations to business unit partners for improvements or remediation to risk management, regulatory, and accreditation compliance programs
Create policies, procedures, and tools that will help implement recommendations
Assist in training and development activities
Serve as a liaison and peer mentor for other associates
Collaborate on strategies, processes improvement and program ideation and development

Required

Bachelor's degree
Master Level degree in Social Work
Candidate must have active clinical licensure in the State of Virginia. RN. LCSW or LMSW. Social work candidates are required to have active social work licensure - LCSW or LMSW
Counselor candidates must have appropriate and active licensure (LPC). Virginia state requirements for licensure must be met and maintained
A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience required
At least one (1) year of quality, regulatory, compliance, accreditation, and/or auditing experience

Preferred

Knowledge of clinical regulatory requirements, experience with CMS and state regulatory and accreditation requirements preferred
