Responsibilities
Use techniques like differential privacy, adversarial ML, and cryptography to develop systems that preserve and improve privacy, and ensure their ongoing application across Snap’s ecosystem
Guide the development of industry leading privacy products and features
Build privacy-preserving systems such as end-to-end encryption, private machine learning, data retention and deletion management solution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical work experience
2+ years of post-Bachelor's security related experience; or Master's degree in a technical field + 1+ year of post-grad security related experience; or PhD in a relevant technical field
Experience with C/C++ Or Java, or Python
Strong Software Engineering and Privacy Engineering fundamentals
Able to prioritize duties and work well on your own
Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail
Ability to deliver scalable and maintainable systems in often ambiguous areas
Preferred
PhD in a relevant field such as Privacy/Cryptography/Statistics/ML
