Responsibilities

Process Design
Work Instruction Planning
Aircraft Installation Support of machining and quick change assembly planning
Evaluating designs for producibility
Developing tooling and manufacturing plans for components, assemblies and installations
Interface with Design Engineering, Operations, Quality, Programs, Product Safety and the supply base in an effort to resolve issues relating to production installation of harness and component assemblies
Generating work instructions and ordering tooling to execute fabrication or procurement of details, assemblies and installations
Assure design is producible and can be fabricated to meet cost and schedule targets

Required

Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college
Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes
Proficient with CAD software: SolidWorks, Autodesk, etc
Familiar with reading and creating drawings for precision machined components
Knowledge of Manufacturing/Machining
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must be a US citizen

Preferred

Experience in machining processes (turning, milling and grinding)
Planning of large assemblies
Familiarity with GD&T drawing requirements
Familiarity with safety protocols
Leadership skills working well in a team environment
