Development Technician

Assemble prototype hardware and test setups
Provide feedback on design manufacturability
Maintain lab/shop equipment
Support root cause investigations

Qualification

Mechanical assemblyElectrical assemblyTechnical drawing interpretationTroubleshooting skillsPrototype build experienceDocumentation skillsTest instrumentation familiarityLean/Kaizen principlesCross-functional assembly

Required

4+ years in technician or development support role
Skilled with mechanical/electrical assembly tools
Ability to interpret technical drawings
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Physical effort including standing, lifting, and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime and/or weekends as needed

Preferred

Aerospace/automotive prototype build experience
Familiarity with test instrumentation
Knowledge of Lean/Kaizen principles
Cross-functional assembly experience
