Responsibilities
Enter orders into SAP and place orders with vendors
Investigate potential suppliers and products, issue RFQ's as necessary
Procurement of materials, parts, components, equipment, and services from suppliers
Plan, review, and modify scheduling of supplies to ensure uninterrupted production
Identify and drive cost savings initiatives
Support other Dale division locations as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field required
Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Strong negotiation skills with a focus on manufacturing environment
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. Preferred
Five or more years of purchasing and supplier management experience preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, Outlook, and mainframe systems a plus
