Complete sales calls and presentations
Cultivating and handling a large portfolio of potential accounts
Aiming to meet personal target sales expectations
Utilize existing networks and a mid-sized list of account leads
Conduct in-depth, targeted market research
Identify and target potential business opportunities
Interface with internal and external senior level stakeholders
Assist senior colleagues with advanced aspects of the deal process
Be a member of various professional and industry or regional organizations
Attend conferences and relevant events to expand and maintain a large professional network
Represent the company and gain exposure and insight into various specialties
Qualification
Required
Broker License
Minimum of five years' experience with new business development required, ideally with large group insurance experience
Proven insurance industry experience with individual and group insurance products
Preferred
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
