Tradeshow and Events Associate

Q2 is a leading provider of digital banking and lending solutions, and they are seeking a Tradeshow and Events Associate to manage the planning and execution of corporate events and trade shows. This role involves delivering engaging customer experiences, coordinating logistics, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive brand awareness and revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

Manage events for Q2 including, but not limited to hosted events and conferences and industry trade shows
Deliver an engaging and thoughtful customer experience at all events
Manage all event coordination including day-to-day administration, speaker, venue, vendor communication, and cross-departmental collaboration
Clearly communicate objectives, project status and updates to stakeholders on a regular and consistent basis
Serve as core team planning member for annual client conference
Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress of assigned events
Negotiate and manage vendor contracts related to assigned events
Assist department in meeting business objectives for lead generation
Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
Other duties as assigned

Required

A Bachelor's degree and ideally one year of experience in corporate or association event management and trade shows
Ability to think strategically, generate creative solutions and manage multiple, time-sensitive projects
Detail oriented, organized, strong project management and budget management skills
Proven ability to manage projects independently, drive projects to completion, and implement change
Communication and interpersonal skills – ability to build strong working relationships and communicate cross functionally and with sales teams and leaders
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Ability to work across all levels of stakeholder management and engage in professional and productive collaboration across teams
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Ability to travel
Fluent written and oral communication in English
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S

Preferred

Strong skills in Cvent, SFDC, Marketo, Wrike
CMP or CTSM Credentials
