Responsibilities
Act as the operational and strategic owner to stakeholders and partners
Identify gaps in current processes and improve workflows with localization, programming, curation, and other operational supporting teams and partners
Lead the development of executive-ready deliverables (dashboards, trackers, presentations, project plans), ensuring clarity, structure, and visual polish in every output
Introduce global workflows in regions to further integrate regional teams into the global organization
Manage partner relationship, operations, and project budget to help expand the manga business
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in areas like global strategy, business operations, localization, distribution, growth, or project/program management—ideally in a subscription-based business such as entertainment, publishing, or streaming technology
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally
Strong skills in creating polished presentations, spreadsheets, dashboards, and trackers
Self-starter who spots gaps, takes ownership, and proactively supports the team
Ability to break unclear asks into structured workstreams, clear priorities, and actionable next steps
Experience working well with many partners at once, collaborating across product, engineering, marketing, content, and operations
Known for operational excellence: detail-oriented, highly organized, and process-driven
Ability to manage timelines, documentation, and follow-ups independently
Experience working in a global, distributed organization, collaborating across time zones, regions, and cultures
Approach work with empathy and clarity
Team-oriented and down-to-earth, caring about doing great work and supporting leaders and teammates
