Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end SEC financial reporting process, including the preparation, review, and filing of Forms 10-Q and 10-K
Own the SEC reporting calendar and coordinate timelines by partnering closely with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, and external advisors
Oversee the preparation and accuracy of iXBRL tagging and ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements
Serve as a key participant in Disclosure Committee meetings, driving thoughtful discussion and ensuring complete, accurate, and compliant financial disclosures
Support accounting and financial reporting aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other complex or non-routine transactions
Act as the primary liaison with the external auditors (Big4), coordinating quarterly reviews and the annual audit process
Review and supervise disclosure support and work prepared by other members of the reporting team
Partner with Investor Relations and Corporate FP&A to support quarterly earnings releases, earnings materials, and internal reporting deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; active CPA required
8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm experience required); candidates with a straight public accounting or consulting background will be considered
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting and disclosure requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographic locations
Strong analytical and judgment skills, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex accounting and reporting matters
Hands-on, proactive, and collaborative professional who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail
