Responsibilities
Prepare accurate electrical cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and government projects
Perform full quantity takeoffs and analyze plans, specifications, and addenda
Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing with risk awareness
Identify scope gaps, bid risks, and value engineering opportunities before submission
Support bid strategy and ensure clean handoff to project management and operations
Qualification
Required
8 plus years of hands-on electrical estimating experience
Proven success bidding public works or government-funded electrical projects
Advanced plan and specification interpretation skills with independent ownership
Strong analytical, organizational, and deadline-driven execution capability
Clear communication skills and ability to work directly with leadership and field teams
