Oversee day-to-day litigation case management and direct junior staff, respectively
Prepare and execute discovery plans, including propounding and responding to discovery, drafting meet and confer letters, motions to compel
Draft pleadings, briefs and motions, including motions for opposition of summary judgment
Conduct party, witness, and expert depositions
Conduct legal research and investigations
Attend court hearing and argue motions
Meet with clients and conduct pre-trial and deposition preparation
1st or 2nd chair trial experience and insurance defense experience is a plus
Qualification
Required
Admittance to CA State Bar
2-7+ years of litigation experience
Preferred
