Responsibilities
Define and execute the enterprise technology platform and architecture strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
Provide executive leadership across Enterprise Architecture, AI & Data Architecture, Software Engineering, Infrastructure & Cloud Strategy, and Cloud Center of Excellence
Establish governance, standards, and reference architectures across applications, data, AI/ML platforms, infrastructure, security, and integrations
Drive modernization of legacy systems through cloud adoption, automation, and scalable platform engineering practices
Lead enterprise cloud strategy including hybrid cloud models, landing zones, and enablement frameworks
Build and operate a Cloud Center of Excellence to guide teams on cloud adoption, governance, cost management, and security
Partner with Product, Security, Risk, and Business leaders to ensure technology solutions support growth, compliance, and operational resilience
Oversee evaluation, selection, and adoption of enterprise platforms and emerging technologies
Establish metrics for architectural maturity, delivery performance, cloud adoption, cost optimization, and value realization
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology risk, investment strategy, and long-term platform sustainability
Qualification
Required
15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology leadership roles
7+ years leading large, cross-functional teams spanning architecture, engineering, infrastructure, and cloud
Proven experience in insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries
Expertise with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent) and modern platform engineering practices
Deep technical understanding across software engineering, cloud platforms, infrastructure, AI/data ecosystems, and security
Demonstrated success leading enterprise modernization and transformation initiatives
Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills
Experience establishing governance models, operating frameworks, and standards at enterprise scale
Hands-on experience with Agile delivery models, DevOps, and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
Strong understanding of CMDB, portfolio management, and technology lifecycle governance
