HR Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing presentations, and handling correspondence
Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire packets, coordinating background checks, and scheduling orientation sessions
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
Process HR-related paperwork, such as employment verifications, personnel changes, and benefits enrollment forms
Respond to general HR inquiries from employees, directing complex issues to appropriate HR specialists
Support HR projects and initiatives, including data collection, research, and report generation
Manage office supplies for the HR department and ensure the smooth operation of office equipment
Assist with event planning for company-wide activities and employee engagement initiatives
Generate routine HR reports and assist with data analysis as needed
Ability to schedule adjust a minimum of one partial shift a month to help support third or second shift inquiries
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the HR management team
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
1-2 years of administrative support experience, preferably within a Human Resources department
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service oriented approach
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is a plus
