Senior AI Engineer – Internal Systems & Developer Productivity

They are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build internal AI infrastructure that enhances team productivity and software development efficiency through the creation of tools, systems, and workflows leveraging AI technologies.
Responsibilities
Design and build internal AI-powered tools that accelerate development workflows
Implement memory systems and knowledge retrieval infrastructure for internal use
Create automation pipelines that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency
Build RAG-based systems for internal documentation, code, and institutional knowledge
Integrate LLMs into developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and internal applications
Work closely with engineering teams to understand pain points and deliver solutions
Evaluate and integrate frontier models for internal use case
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong Python expertise, including frameworks like FastAPI or Flask
Experience building and deploying production systems at scale
Experience with data processing pipelines and automation
Familiarity with SQL databases and event streaming (Kafka or similar)
Cloud platform experience (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP also valuable)
BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Preferred
Hands-on experience with vector databases (Milvus, Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar)
Applied experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and frameworks like LlamaIndex or LangChain
Experience building internal tools and developer productivity systems
Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
Experience with TypeScript and React for internal tooling interfaces
Background in SaaS or enterprise software environment
