Responsibilities
Create project plans, complete with estimated duration, tasks, resources, and milestones
Ensure project deliverables are strategically aligned with business and project objectives
Coordinate meetings between team members and business and IT stakeholders
Gain sign-off on project deliverables
Identify risks, their associated potential impacts, and the mitigation of the risks
Manage resources to ensure adherence to the project plan
Implement project change requests and corrective actions to ensure project success
Utilize and identify tools, processes, and templates to manage projects effectively
Maintain meeting/project documentation and identify and track changes in project scope
Update and maintain project plans on a regular basis
Assist with identifying and producing project metrics to be used in tracking project success
Consistent communication to stakeholders and project sponsors outlining status, risks, issues, key decisions, and action plans, including accurate and timely updates on project deliverables, timelines, and budget
Identify project stakeholders and project participants, establish roles and responsibilities with rules of engagement, communicate status, and issue resolution
Providing coaching and mentoring of project resources to ensure the projects are delivered on-time and within budget

Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience as a project manager on medium to large-scale IT projects
5+ years focused in at least 2 of the following areas: Data Integration/Movement, Business Intelligence, Data Quality, Cloud Platforms, Master Data Management, Big Data, Data Governance, Business and Data Analysis, Data Modeling
3+ years of experience delivering projects with a combination of onshore and offshore project teams in a consultant role
Experience with BI/DW implementations and the enterprise data management space
At least 4 years of solid Agile experience in a Data Warehouse environment
Knowledge of other project management disciplines and methodologies, including: Waterfall, RUPP, Scrum, Kanban
Highly competent with MS Project and standard desktop MS Office applications
Experience with master data management
Experience with data governance
Experience with JIRA and/or Trello and/or TFS
Experience managing project teams of 5-20 people
A deep level of experience creating and managing project plans, including estimation, task identification, resource planning, resource balancing, loading, and risk mitigation
Proven knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles and Methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Deep knowledge in multiple areas of the data management industry (Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Cloud, MDM, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Modeling)
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage complex project dependencies
Ability to lead group facilitation, mediation, and conflict resolution
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively in a team environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpolate from abstract material
Ability to partner across the organization to coordinate resources and solve issues
Excellent planning and time management skills
Effective communication with mid to upper level management
Demonstrated work ethic, focus, and self-discipline
Is willing and capable of taking on conflict resolution within an account with internal and/or external resources
Is effective in a variety of formal project and external presentation/meeting settings: one-on-ones, small and large groups, with peers, direct reports, and superiors
Demonstrates strong understanding of the types of technology/tools available and how these are used in EDM solutions
Modifies the DSC methodology to fit the needs of the client, enhance value to the client, and maintain/enhance the profitability of the engagement
Demonstrates the ability to create new and innovative solutions to problems that have previously not been encountered
Excels in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills are required for success
Understanding of, and ability to, apply Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering to projects
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT preferred, or 3 years of relevant professional experience
