Responsibilities
Support Process Engineers in the Strategic Performance Engineering team in the areas of:
2D and 3D Design
Data Analysis
Time Studies
Material Movement Analysis
Investigating Area Layouts
Work from models, drawings, and or sketches provided by engineering to:
Review and update existing layouts
Support process moves, equipment layouts
Learn to make recommendations for cost reductions and improvements to increase efficiency
Learn to use critical thinking skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
Openly share job knowledge with co-workers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
Basic experience using 2D & 3D CAD systems/models
Basic ability to read and interpret prints and drawings
Basic ability to use standard tools and measurement equipment
Ability to communicate and share knowledge with others
Preferred
Previous internship or experience in a manufacturing environment
