Responsibilities

Establish and maintain scientific data standards, ontologies, and metadata frameworks
Apply ALCOA+++ and FAIR principles to ensure research data quality and reusability
Support data classification, governance, privacy, and access control processes
Partner with SMEs to define data structures, resolve issues, and optimize workflows
Continuously improve data practices to support faster insights and greater research impact

Required

Bachelor's degree in a data or science‑related field (or equivalent experience); 3+ years in biopharma/life sciences
Strong understanding of scientific data standards, ontologies, and data governance
Experience using Python or similar tools for data processing and analytical tasks
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills; ability to clarify and execute on ambiguous tasks
Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross‑functional, global environment

Preferred

Experience with cloud data platforms or data interoperability
Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, or other privacy regulations
Background in bioinformatics, cheminformatics, statistics, or structural biology
Experience driving adoption of new data processes or standards
