Responsibilities
Administer and support Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments across compute, networking, storage, and identity access management
Monitor system health, availability, and performance using cloud monitoring and logging tools
Respond to production incidents, outages, and escalations, including root cause analysis and remediation
Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and cloud security hardening activities
Support cloud-hosted applications, including data and analytics platforms
Work within established incident management, change control, and escalation processes
Collaborate with global delivery teams, including onshore and offshore resources
Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard procedures
Support compliance, audit readiness, and security best practices within cloud environments
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience administering and monitoring Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
Strong experience with incident response and production support in cloud environments
Experience with Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, or equivalent monitoring tools
Working knowledge of cloud security, including patching, vulnerability management, and remediation
Strong Linux and shell scripting experience
Experience using enterprise ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy
Solid understanding of operational processes, including incident management and change control
Preferred
Additional cloud security exposure or certifications
Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code tools
Experience supporting Apache NiFi or cloud-based data pipelines
