Responsibilities
Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
Enforces proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Collaborate with management on company’s financial strategy
Manage the company's financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assets
Manage the company's transactions and debts as well as cash flow forecasting
Plan, coordinate, and perform the company's financial audits
Monitor and analyze financial and accounting data to reach financial objectives
Create financial reports based on data analysis as well as forecasting
Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, receivables, payables, payroll, and budget preparation
High level of involvement and problem solving, in managing all aspects of accounting, financial, and payroll expectations
Ability to encourage associates to perform to their fullest capabilities through team building
Possess exemplary work ethic and maintain good attendance (regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position)
Be able to perform multiple tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously while performing various other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related
5+ years' experience in the accounting management capacity
5+ years as a supervisor, manager or other leadership role
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations
Experience with accounting software and databases
Superior management and supervisory skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
