Responsibilities
Work side-by-side with artists on the character team, under the direction of the Art Team Leadership, to carry the creative vision of this amazing franchise forward
Create high-quality character art that adheres to next-gen technical specs while looking and functioning amazingly well in the engine
Assist in the planning of content creation in collaboration with other character artists and the concept team
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure that all character work meets the high-quality expectations set by the studio
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in games
Received a degree in Fine Art and/or Digital Art, or have related work experience
Become proficient in Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, and Substance Painter over the course of your career
Worked in the Unreal Engine pipeline professionally
Curated a strong artistic vision to translate both organic and hard surface characters from concept to game-ready assets
Gained a solid knowledge of high-poly modeling and digital sculpting
Built a strong understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regard to modeling
Developed a strong personal art style with an exceptional understanding of human anatomy
Become multi-faceted with a superior eye for value, color, and detail in creating textures combined with a strong understanding of PBR
A reliable, positive force multiplier, actively seeking opportunities to integrate work across disciplines and contribute to a healthy, supportive team environment
A solid communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly, package information for diverse audiences, and deliver difficult feedback with empathy and professionalism

Able to maintain effectiveness and quality under pressure, ambiguity, and fast-changing priorities
