Responsibilities
Work in a small, tight-knit, empowered team to build and deploy cloud-based backend APIs and services for Ovia's mobile applications to deliver a solution that provides daily personalized health support for women and families
Participate in code reviews in a way that deepens team knowledge and improves our technology
Communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions clearly across the development lifecycle
Be a part of a culture that values collaboration, inclusion, experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
HS Diploma required
2-4 years professional experience with team-based development
Experience with modern PHP (8+)
Understanding of software engineering best practices such as testability and object-oriented design with the ability to incorporate these into technical solutions
Preferred
Experience with a PHP framework (e.g. Symfony or Laravel), Doctrine DBAL/ORM, and SQL
Experience in healthcare industry
