Responsibilities
Support a variety of technical teams in the delivery of quality services, to include engineering design, environmental, quality, and project controls on a mega-design-build transportation project by
Utilizing CADD to prepare various engineering drawings, layouts, and/or models to communicate project details in accordance with established standards and procedures
Participating in project meetings
Complete assignments as assigned (prepare calculations, reports, etc)
Assist in providing technical and operational support for exposure to
Highway engineering principles, standards, and practices
Project Delivery for key clients (including the design, environmental, and procurement processes)
Various Related Highway Disciplines (Stormwater management, green infrastructure, utilities, structures, etc)
Participate in Jacobs’ summer intern program to grow your professional network
Qualification
Required
In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
Must be at least a rising Junior
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, pptx)
Able to analyze and solve problems
Able to work with a diverse and integrated team
Possess excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Able to demonstrate initiative and curiosity to complete assignments on time
Preferred
3.0 GPA
