Akash Systems is seeking a Human Resources Manager for a full-time, on-site role in Emeryville, CA. The HR Manager will lead all HR functions, including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration, while fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

Partnering with leadership to support organizational goals
Maintaining positive employee experiences
Implementing HR strategies and policies
Ensuring legal compliance
Spearheading initiatives to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace
Compliance - for employees in several states including training and communication requirements
Culture - helping to drive common culture for a hard-working, busy team spread several sites (AKASH = Act with intent, Krush all goals, Adapt quickly, Safety first, Have fun)
Recruiting/Hiring - establishing and leading a process to find, hire, and onboard candidates across a variety of functions
Communication - finding ways to keep the team aligned across all locations and functions
Organizational structure - help management in establishing new hires into the long-term organizational plan
Compensation and benefits - review and update policies in line with company growth goals

Required

Strong expertise in recruiting, talent acquisition, and workforce planning
Proven skills in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
In-depth knowledge of HR policies, compliance regulations, and employment laws
Experience in designing and managing benefits programs and employee engagement initiatives
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities
Ability to work effectively in an on-site, fast-paced, and innovative environment
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
Previous experience in a fast-moving tech or high-growth company is highly beneficial
