Responsibilities

Write software to monitor system health and control the safe engagement and disengagement of driver assistance features. You’ll be contributing to a large C++ codebase, unit-testing your code, and reviewing pull requests from across the company
Work with systems engineers to design software and write requirements. Requirements aren’t written in stone—we iterate on them just like we iterate on the software itself
Work with feature development teams across the company to integrate their features into our systems. Because our components interact with almost every part of the system, you’ll get to understand all of it at a basic level and work with teams across the company
Work directly with test engineers to integrate our software on hardware-in-the-loop test systems and test vehicles. We’re working with real hardware to develop a real product, and we’re testing it accordingly
Build out tests and tooling to verify that our software is correct, safe, and reliable. We’re applying modern software development in a field that traditionally relied on slow, requirements-driven development and testing. We’re committed to meeting or exceeding the integrity and safety of those traditional processes
