Federal Account Executive, Defense & Intelligence
Jaxon.AI is on a mission to make AI trustworthy, focusing on the adoption of large language models in regulated industries. They are seeking a Federal Account Executive to grow their presence in the U.S. federal government by managing sales execution and building relationships within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities
Own and grow a defined federal territory by driving full-cycle sales execution across complex, mission-driven accounts
Build trusted relationships within DoD and Intelligence Community organizations, shaping and qualifying opportunities, and leading pursuits from early capture through contract award
Help write and shape federal proposals, RFIs, and white papers — working hands-on with technical teams to bring compelling narratives to life
Represent Jaxon at in-person industry events, customer meetings, and federal forums, helping position us as the premier solution for high-assurance AI
Qualification
Required
5-10 Years Experience: Consistently meets/exceeds revenue targets in complex enterprise or federal environments. Brings evidence of performance (numbers, deal sizes, cycles)
Full-Cycle Deal Ownership: Runs end-to-end sales execution: discovery, solution alignment, negotiation, and award/close. Can drive momentum across long, multi-stakeholder cycles
AI Ecosystem Proficiency: Demonstrated understanding of the federal AI ecosystem, including major government AI initiatives, defense and intelligence use cases, and key industry players
DoW/Intelligence Experience: Experience selling into DoW/IC or the defense ecosystem (primes/integrators) and understands how decisions get made. Comfortable with senior government and integrator stakeholders
Federal Acquisition Literacy: Understands the basics of federal procurement and uses public opportunity signals to guide capture and outreach. Can work from notices/forecasts into actionable pursuits
Cross Functional Leadership: Leads internal deal teams and coordinates inputs across proposals/capture, legal, and technical stakeholders. Capable of selling technically complex solutions with internal alignment
Clearance: Active SECRET clearance required, TS/SCI strongly preferred
You must be based around or willing to commute to the Washington, D.C. metro area
We do a lot of exciting customer-facing work, so an eagerness for and enjoyment in communication is a must
Preferred
Some experience in CRM platforms would be great
Preferably applicants will have a bachelor's degree, however at Jaxon, we value skills and dedication over degrees. We strongly encourage people without degrees to apply if you have at least 5 years of experience
