They are seeking a Power Systems Field Technician to assist with factory testing, field commissioning, and support of energy storage systems, requiring knowledge of basic power system fundamentals and equipment configuration.

Responsibilities
Knowing basic power system fundamentals such as voltage, current, real and reactive power calculations
Experience with CAT5 networking and Modbus protocols
Familiar with measuring instruments such as multimeters, phase rotation meters, and insulation resistance tests
Comfortable working with tools in a manufacturing and field environment including but not limited to: Torque wrenches, DC hi-pot testers, electrical wiring crimpers, and making basic wiring changes
Be able to read wiring schematics to aid in the checkout and troubleshooting of systems and be able to communicate issues to the project engineers if needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of related work experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience with battery storage, solar, wind, or thermal generation systems (simple or combined cycle)
Experience in lead or supervisory operations role
Strong knowledge of power plant systems, operations, and project execution
Familiarity with control systems, analytics tools, and documentation processes
Basic understanding of construction and constructability principles
Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Associate degree, certification, or trade/vocational experience preferred
