This role involves managing office tasks, supporting personnel activities, and maintaining various electronic systems and documents to ensure the efficient operation of correctional facilities.

Responsibilities
Operates computer equipment to crate and revise various documents, including technical correspondence, reports, contracts, and project budgets for the Supervising Construction Projects Administrator and other staff
Reviews and corrects word processing and spreadsheet documents for grammar, spelling, and form, and merges portions of documents as needed
Assists with personnel activities, including maintaining performance standards and position descriptions, reviewing job applicants, and handling higher-level personnel items such as discipline and worker’s compensation
Performs support tasks such as processing Purchasing Card transactions, organizing and maintaining filing systems, sorting mail, and serving as a telephone receptionist
Manages calendars, travel arrangements, and meeting schedules for the Assistant Bureau Chief of Maintenance and Repairs and other staff, and participates in departmental training to enhance skills
Qualification
Required
At least two (2) years of similar work experience in office support/clerical
At least two (2) years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience
