Responsibilities
Assists the Director and Managers in the day-to-day operational functions of the program
Providing day-to-day supervision to office support and utility personnel
Serving as procurement officer entering requisitions through the Purchasing module of NCAS
Serving as a Environment of Care member
Serving as Security Officer as it relates to DHHS Security policies
Serving as Personnel liaison, facilitating paperwork for hiring managers, and overseeing employee separation procedures
Backing up numerous critical operational functions
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Knowledge of State budget and fiscal procedures, physical plant operations, personnel policies and requirements, affirmative action guidelines, human rights guidelines, and interagency processes
Knowledge of Institution policies related to internal budgeting and fiscal operations
Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously, organize and prioritize tasks appropriately, and carry out duties in a systematic and comprehensive manner
Ability to assist others in setting priorities and facilitation of teamwork
Knowledge of MS Office 2000 suite as well as other fiscally related software programs
