Responsibilities

Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and opportunities
Gather, document, and validate detailed business and functional requirements
Translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases, workflows, and acceptance criteria
Ensure alignment of requirements with strategic goals and regulatory/compliance needs
Understanding of the broader HR technology ecosystem and how Workday fits within an integrated HR tech stack
Awareness of industry trends, best practices, and evolving HR technology capabilities
Ability to bring informed recommendations grounded in both market knowledge and practical constraints
Bring discipline, transparency, and follow-through to Workday-related delivery
Partner with technical teams to validate solution design and ensure requirements are technically feasible
Responsible to ensure integrations are scoped, configured, and tested per requirements
Conduct gap analysis between existing processes/systems and the new application capabilities
Assist in planning and executing general and user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case development and defect triage
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
Facilitate workshops, presentations, and decision-making sessions
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication of project scope, timelines, and impacts
Support development of training materials, user guides, and process documentation
Provide input to change management strategies to drive user adoption
Help ensure smooth transition from project to operational support
Provide thought leadership and domain expertise to improve project delivery outcomes
Identify and track risks, dependencies, and gaps related to Workday delivery and proactively drive resolution
Build strong working relationships with HR leaders, Technology partners, vendors, and business stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
5+ years of business analysis experience, with at least 3 years in HRIS Workday systems
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
Experience with process modeling, requirements management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate technical concepts into business language and vice versa
Familiarity with HRIS processes and tools, system integration, and testing methodologies
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strategic thinking and business acumen
Leadership and mentoring abilities
Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced environments
Focus on delivering business value and user adoption

Preferred

Preferred experience in the construction or manufacturing environment and/or project based financial tracking (e.g., Procore and D365)
