Responsibilities
Able to perform chassis repairs and parts fabrication with minimal supervision, with superior finish quality
Use hand and power tools in accordance with safety guidelines
Must be able to work closely with technicians, other fabricators, the Fleet Operations Manager, and the Production Shop Manager to finish all projects by deadlines
Problem solves complex construction/fabrication techniques for MJ chassis, parts, and show props
Ability to travel at a moment's notice when on call
Accept all other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of related experience
GMAW, TIG, and SMAW welding experience required
Ability to perform chassis repairs and parts fabrication with minimal supervision, with superior finish quality
Use hand and power tools in accordance with safety guidelines
Must be able to work closely with technicians, other fabricators, the Fleet Operations Manager, and the Production Shop Manager to finish all projects by deadlines

Mechanical Knowledge and aptitude involving fabrication, metal work, and metal tubing work
Personal characteristics - team player, organized, task-oriented, quick learner, self-starter, critical thinker
The ability and willingness to travel internationally and domestically 50% of the time
Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, and lift 75 lbs
Ability to provide logical solutions to complex problems and to interpret a variety of requests or instructions
Preferred
Vocational certificate or voluntary certification in welding and fabrication preferred
Experience in tubing welding, tubing bending, notching, fitting, and installation preferred
