Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance enterprise-level tax compliance and reporting applications
Improve performance, scalability, and stability of existing codebases
Design and implement new tax compliance and reporting features
Provide production support by analyzing defects and resolving issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in full-stack web application development
Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles
Experience with relational databases and SQL query optimization
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred
Experience with financial systems, tax, compliance, or high-volume transaction processing
Exposure to performance optimization in legacy systems
Experience working on regulated, mission-critical platforms
