Senior Apprenticeship Consultant
The California Department of Industrial Relations is seeking a Senior Apprenticeship Consultant to provide guidance and technical assistance in apprenticeship and on-the-job training programs. This role involves ensuring compliance with apprenticeship laws and regulations, conducting program reviews, and engaging with various stakeholders through meetings and outreach events.

Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance and guidance to staff who support apprenticeship and on-the-job training programs
Serve as a source of information to workers, employers, their representatives, and the general public regarding Apprenticeship, Pre-Apprenticeship and On-The-job training programs
Develop and consult with Apprenticeship and 'On-The-Job' training programs
Provide guidance on compliance with state and federal apprenticeship laws and regulations
Conduct program reviews
Attend apprenticeship program meetings, public meetings, job fairs and outreach events
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be either reachable on an employment list, have transfer eligibility or have reinstatement eligibility
This position requires applicants to submit a Statement of Qualifications
The Senior Apprenticeship Consultant will be responsible for overseeing the workload and the managing of a local DAS office staff
Describe your experience being a manager and leading teams effectively
Describe your experience defining and interpreting laws and regulations to others to assure compliance
