System Administrator
CFS is a mission-driven organization focused on secure and reliable technology for both on-site and remote staff. They are seeking a Systems Administrator to take ownership of network, security, and cloud administration, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to enhance infrastructure and system stability.

Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Meraki firewalls, including threat prevention, policy updates, and access control
Review and manage security configurations, perform firewall rule audits, and enforce compliance
Administer security tools and apply timely updates to maintain system integrity
Monitor network logs and detect misconfigurations or potential intrusions
Maintain switches, network devices, firmware updates, licenses, and lifecycle management
Respond to internal help desk requests via phone, email, remote support, or in-person assistance
Build and update system and network reports using Microsoft Report Builder and SSRS
Document infrastructure, network diagrams, system changes, and administrative procedures
Assess new hardware, software, or cloud tools and recommend upgrades or enhancements
Assist in system expansions, new equipment installations, and rollout of network-related services
Troubleshoot connectivity, performance issues, and infrastructure outages
Work with outside vendors on IT installations, repairs, and contracted services
Cross-train with IT teammates to strengthen department-wide coverage
Participate in ongoing training on emerging technologies and security best practices
Provide after-hours support during emergency disruptions
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in IT or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
3+ years of hands-on systems or network administration experience
Strong understanding of cloud environments, network monitoring, patching, and disaster recovery
Experience with firewalls, VPN administration, Zero Trust concepts, and access control policies
Familiarity with switches, routing, and general network architecture
Comfortable with various operating systems, software platforms, and scripting tools
Clear communication skills and ability to support both technical and nontechnical users
Strong troubleshooting skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing needs
Preferred
Experience building or supporting API integrations
Cisco/Meraki, Security+, Network+, or similar certifications
Background in SSRS, reporting tools, or advanced data visualization
Experience supporting device repair or hardware diagnostics
