Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close
Prepare and review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP
Oversee cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing-related financial reporting
Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive business decisions
Partner with operations and leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations
Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience; at least 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with ERP/accounting systems; advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
CPA or CMA
Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
