Part Time - Accounting - Adjunct Instructor
Penn State University is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for its Accounting Department within the Smeal College of Business. The role involves teaching courses in the online Masters of Taxation program while ensuring students understand tax law and ethical practices in taxation.

Responsibilities
Teach courses in the online Masters of Taxation program
Design and present course material in an asynchronous format that teaches students how to resolve tax law questions in support of economic decision making and tax return position defense
Provide an in-depth understanding of the ethical constructs that guide and limit the practice of taxation
Qualification
Required
Detailed knowledge of the tax law in subjects such as corporate taxation (including reorganizations and consolidated tax returns); tax research, writing & analysis; partnerships; estate & gift tax; exempt organizations; and/or state & local taxation
A Master's degree or equivalent education and experience
Ability to design and present course material in an asynchronous format
Understanding of the ethical constructs that guide and limit the practice of taxation
