Responsibilities
Assist in the assessment of property damage caused by water, fire, smoke, or other disasters
Remove debris, salvageable materials, and damaged contents from affected areas
Clean, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces, walls, floors, and other structural components using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
Assist in the removal and disposal of damaged materials, including drywall, insulation, carpeting, and flooring
Set up and operate drying equipment, dehumidifiers, and air movers to dry out affected areas and prevent mold growth
Assist in the reconstruction and restoration of damaged structures, including framing, drywall installation, painting, and finishing
Document work performed, including photos, measurements, and written descriptions, for insurance claims and billing purposes
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on the job site
Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, clients, and subcontractors to coordinate restoration activities and ensure project objectives are met
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in restoration is required
Ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions
Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
