Responsibilities

Assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects
Plan and execute field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance
Prepare scopes of work for subcontracts
Conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets
Create technical reports documenting completed activities and results

Required

In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or closely related field
Must be at least a rising Junior
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Willingness to perform field work
United States Citizenship
Drivers License Required
Ability to work in one of the preferred locations for this internship (Virginia Beach, VA; will also consider Boston, MA; metro Washington, DC; Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC) or other Eastern US locations based on project needs

3.0 GPA
A previous internship related to your field of study
Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
Self-driven time management and organizational skills
Ability to obtain 40-hour hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed for role
