Responsibilities
Processes vouchers in compliance with policies and guidelines while working their assigned roles/tasks in the OCR and ERP systems
Performs research, problem solves and takes corrective action to ensure payments are made within appropriate timeframes including vendor addition invites/notifications
Performs follows up on the assigned timeline for invoices pending approval to ensure they are addressed in a timely fashion
Informs management and end-users of delays of complications within the process
Prepares documentation for audits and reroutes to alternative approvers when an approver is out of the office
Balances and maintain workload with minimal supervision while adhering to departmental policies, procedures and position/department performance standards
Able to perform the AP Verifier role, provides team coverage and special projects as needed
Produces updates, emails, and other communication in a clear and effective manner
Establish and maintain rapport through effective communication and timely follow-up with customers, coworkers, management, and outside agencies/vendors
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Two years accounts payable or finance experience
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, possess good communication (written and verbal) skills
Preferred
Associates degree preferred
Strongly prefer experience within multiple locations and PeopleSoft a plus
