3+ years expHeyer Expectations LLC is seeking a Cobol Programmer Analyst to ensure that their systems meet corporate policies related to security, licensing, and standards. The role involves client consulting, documentation, and coordination with supervisors and project managers to maintain and develop the existing Customer Data Warehouse application.

Responsibilities
Ensure that our system meets all Corporate polices as they relate to system security, licensing, hardware, and software standards
Conducts all work safely and promotes safe work practices
Attend and comply with all safety meetings and training sessions
Ability to work in a team environment; develop, build and maintain positive rapport with our team members, business clients, and IT partners
Work with team members to develop technical design and architecture documents, deployment guides, Run-books, Play-books, etc
Work with Supervisor and/or Project Manager to coordinate and establish time lines and cost estimates for tasks and projects
Must be self-motivated, having the ability to multi-task under a heavy and diverse work-load, while maintaining strong relationships with the business
Maintain and develop the existing Customer Data Warehouse application
Qualification
Required
COBOL experience
SQL experience
Unix experience
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering
3-5 years of IT and business experience in information technology area, production support, data base design, development and performance tuning, development and implementation of a variety of computer projects
Experience with integrated relational database management system (Oracle) is required including dimensional data models and report modeling
3-5 years experience across multiple hardware and software platforms
Knowledge and experience in new computing architectures and network computer protocol structures emphasizing the UNIX system
Solid knowledge of SDLC
Proficient in Unix Scripting
Proficient in COBOL
Proficient in SQL/PL-SQL
Preferred
JAVA
OpenText Exstream development
QA/Testing experience
Bill Presentment and Billing experience
