Responsibilities

CockroachDB installation, administration, and support- create design documentation and runbooks, and advise/coach other technical team members
Highly available, cross-region database design, architecture, and implementation, including high-performance storage expertise- cross-site data replication (RAFT), backup/restore, and disaster recovery- performance and failover testing, data consistency/validation- database performance monitoring and tuning
