Design, manage and execute system-wide event management processes
Coordination, facilitation and integration of event/peer review information
Achieve continuous improvements in patient care delivery and optimal patient outcomes
Acts as an expert resource for event management
Enhancing patient safety
Reducing patient harm
Achieving Christiana Care’s strategic and patient safety goals
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in nursing
Current Delaware/Compact RN licensure required
Preferred
Minimum two years' work experience in patient safety or quality preferred
Organizational skills and project management experience in patient safety or quality preferred
Certification by National Association for Health Care Quality preferred
Experience in supervisory or management position preferred
Education, understanding of and/or experience in one or more of the following are desirable: information technology, performance improvement, outcome analysis, utilization management, team facilitation and education (patient/staff) preferred
